Project description
The goal of the project is a mechanical characterization of bio-inspired adhesive polymers with permanent, high strength adhesion. Mechanical tests and FE-simulation will be used to get a deeper understanding of natural adhesive joints as a reference for the bio-inspired polymers. Shear-, tensile and bending tests will be used quantify the adhesive joints.
