Project description

The project is about the fatigue of small samples with nanoscaled microstructure at frequencies up to 50 Hz. For testing, a GABO Eplexor FT Rheometer is employed. The fourier transform of the amplitude-spectra tells us something about the non-linear fraction, which is responsible for teh damage progress in the sample. The measurement of the strain has to be very accurate with digital image correlation (DIC) and/or laser interferometry.
