Compact Course "Teaching Techniques"
This workshop gives you the opportunity to get to know the current developments in higher education didactics. A toolbox for competence-oriented university didactics will be presented and the use of activating elements in teaching will be trained in short teaching simulations.
The aim of the course is to understand how teaching can be designed in a competence- and learning-oriented way. The participants learn to assess and evaluate the chances and difficulties of working with activating methods. Contents of the course:
- Connection between learning psychology and competence orientation
- Constructive alignment as a basis for competence-oriented teaching
- Activating teaching strategies - and teaching methods
- Tips and ideas how to activate students
