The workload which is connected to the aims of the YIN is divided organizationally as well as with regard to content in several committees and commodity teams. These are defined during the general meetings and assigned by democratic elections. The chairmen of the committees are automatically members of the extended board.
The financial board executes budgeting and allocation of funds after approval of the general meeting. It has to report to the assembly every year.
The YIN alumni committee manages the alumni network and arranges public events, meetings and further activities to create a platform where YINand its members’ research groups can be promoted (e.g. the YIN DAY).
The committee professional competence identifies and organizes possibilities for transdisziplinary integration amongst the YIN members. Additionally it organizes the assignment of YIN funds to advance the collaborations between YIN members.
The committee public relations manages the representation of YIN in-house and for the public.
